Jacqueline’s practice focuses on all aspects of regulatory compliance in the retail financial services and payments industry at both the federal and provincial levels. She provides advice to regulated financial institutions, pay day loan companies, money services businesses, foreign exchange dealers and others. She has extensive experience providing advice in respect of Canada’s anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing legislation as well as Canadian sanctions legislation. Jacqueline also has particular expertise in the payment industry and provides advice to those involved in all aspects of the card industry, including credit card and stored value card issuers and program managers, payment processors, payment networks and others.

Joining the Exchange Solutions team in March 2005, Lawrence brought with him 15 years of executive leadership and experience in business development, data analytics and technology services delivery within retail, pharmaceutical and industrial chemical industries. When not working with clients to come up with creative solutions, Larry channels his energy into his passion for hockey by coaching his son’s team.

In 2002, Gary ran the first cross-carrier short code campaign in North America. In 2006, Gary founded the mobile committee for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (www.iab.net) and has worked to publish literature such as the Mobile Buyer’s Guide helping extend the digital buy into mobile (for which he received an IAB award for industry excellence in 2009).
Additionally, in 2007, Gary started work to help establish a joint task force between the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and the IAB with the aid of the Media Rating Council (MRC) to develop global, auditable mobile measurement standards.
In 2010, Gary was elected as the Chair of MEF North America (www.m-e-f.org) with a remit to develop a mobile commerce practice to service brands, retailers and content owners (for which he received a MEF award for industry excellence). In 2011, in partnership with MEF and a number of industry groups including the X9 security standards body, Gary is working to develop m-commerce security and privacy guidelines.

Before joining Mercator Advisory Group, Karen served as Vice President of Customer Experience for Aberdeen Group, where she oversaw Marketing Operations, Creative Services, Program Management, and Customer Services. Her background includes a range of marketing services, digital services, and technical experience.
Prior to her work at Aberdeen Group, Karen managed the client services group at Bluestreak, a provider of advanced marketing data solutions for interactive agencies and advertisers, where she also managed the products and services technical support team. Previously, she held management positions with Triliteral LLC, Byers Engineering, and Mapcom Systems.
